Cedar Grove MHRC is part of Willow Glen Care Center's programs which operate 24-hour residential care facilities for adults and the elderly with severe and persistent mental health conditions.  The facilities are licensed by the Community Care Licensing Division of the California Department of Social Services. The Center specializes in serving people with difficult behavioral problems, monitoring psychotropic medications, and providing a safe and supportive environment to help residents achieve their highest level of independent functioning.  Willow Glen Care Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation located in Northern California.

Cedar Grove Facility Description

Cedar Grove MHRC is a located in Yuba City with multiple outdoor courtyard areas, a gymnasium and ample indoor rehabilitation spaces for rehabilitation programming, recreation, activities and relaxation. It is located near the city business and medical centers, with convenient access to necessary community services.


Services Provided                                                                                                                             

Cedar Grove is a 44-bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center specializing in structured supervision and care for mentally ill adults who are unable to maintain placement at lower levels of care. Cedar Grove provides a client driven, clinician supervised rehabilitation program model that will assist clients in identifying, practicing and implementing the skills necessary to reduce utilization of inpatient hospital days and provides a stable placement in a secure environment. The goal of Cedar Grove program is to assist clients to stabilize and maintain their mental health condition, optimize their functioning, and return to a less restrictive level of care.
